Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with expertise in powertrain systems, diesel engine repair, and automotive electrical systems. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating for customer quotes.
- Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair options.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and education.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a strong understanding of automotive service practices.
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues related to diesel engines and automotive electrical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or training in automotive technology is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
