Job Description
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or independent shop environment.
ASE Certification (or equivalent) preferred; additional manufacturer certifications are a plus. Not Needed.
Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles (domestic ,MAINLY import, and/or luxury brands).
Strong diagnostic skills using OBD-II scanners and advanced diagnostic tools/software.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures accurately and efficiently.
Skilled in performing repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and HVAC.
Familiarity with modern vehicle technology including hybrid and electric systems is a plus.
Ability to operate shop equipment such as lifts, alignment machines, tire changers, etc.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Must have own set of professional-grade tools (shop may provide some specialty tools).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain issues and repairs to service advisors .
Willingness to attend ongoing training and certification programs as required.
Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast-paced environment.
