Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer - NY/NJ to join their team. As a Cisco Network Engineer, you will be part of the network engineering department supporting critical business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cisco Network Engineer - NY/NJ

Location: New York, NY or Iselin, NJ

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr (Only W2)

What's the Job?

• Responsible for research and design of business-to-business network connection solutions.
• Plan and execute network changes via the Wells Fargo change control process.
• Assist in mitigating risk by proactively addressing capacity problems or system-related issues.
• Participate in enterprise-level projects from a network perspective.
• Create and update technical design documentation used by engineering teams.

What's Needed?

• 7-9 years of experience designing LAN/WAN/Data Center solutions for large enterprises.
• 7-9 years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong experience in Business to Business Extranet Connectivity including transport, resiliency, NATting, and VPN.
• Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
• CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certification preferred - Data Center.
