Cyber Security Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local The Opportunity: There is an opening for a Cyber Security position to join the MAST team supporting trainers associated with a Family of Systems (FoS) Program, including various Navy air platforms, located in Fairborn, OH. This role is for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) responsible for all Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities. Responsibilities include: Maintaining classified systems and document control for the program and labs, including monthly patching and updates. Conducting weekly audits on all classified systems. Updating documentation as required by the ISSM. Performing self-inspections and corrective actions for vulnerabilities. Providing accredited IS systems for classified work. Supporting the site FSO and implementing security requirements. Managing configuration, patches, vulnerabilities, and incident response. Supporting cybersecurity activities such as scanning, checklist creation, issue resolution, and evidence gathering for controls. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in IS Technology or Computer Science with cybersecurity experience.

1. year of ISSO experience supporting US Navy or DoD programs.
2. years with RMF and vulnerability assessment tools like ACAS/Tenable Nessus.

Knowledge of US government security policies (NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171). Understanding of DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01. Security+ certification and OS certification (Linux RHEL or Windows 10). Current DoD Secret Clearance. Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or related field. Experience using eMASS. Minimum of 2 years in Cyber Security.
