Football Quality Control Director

About the Department: The mission of the NC State University Department of Athletics is to prepare student-athletes to compete at the highest level and to inspire them to be leaders now and for the future by providing the best environment to achieve their athletic, academic, and personal aspirations.

This position will report to either the Defensive or Offensive Coordinator and works closely with the football coaching staff, director of football operations, director of football recruiting, and other football support staff in the overall direction of a successful, Division I football program.

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create detailed scouting reports on opponents for each game.
  • Create and analyze self-scouting reports on NC State following each game.
  • Review and analyze opponents game personnel and create data-based reports.
  • Collect in-game statistical data, analyze in real-time, and share key metrics.
  • Assist director of football recruiting and football recruiting staff.
  • Meet regularly with football coaching staff to review and analyze profiles.
  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring daily schedules of student-athletes.
  • Attend all practices, team meetings, games, and other team functions.
  • Coordinate responsibilities with graduate assistants and other football staff members.
  • Present/speak to large audiences at team meetings and recruiting functions.
  • Manage special projects as assigned by the Football coaching staff.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Football coaching staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Require post-baccalaureate credentials or a bachelors degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis.

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Four or more years either playing and/or coaching in collegiate football program.
  • Computer and video system literacy and expertise.
  • Technical football knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and motivational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer experience playing and/or coaching at Division I level.

Required License(s) or Certification(s):

  • Valid NC Driver's License required.
