Job Description: Parsons is seeking a talented Physical Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that security projects and programs comply with security governance across physical, industrial, information, and other disciplines. You will coordinate with various divisions such as SISP, SISG, Policy, and Classification Management. What You'll Be Doing: Develop solutions and communicate them to internal and external customers, providing expertise in physical security, industrial security, foreign disclosure/release, and information security. Administer security electronic software tools, databases, and systems to support NGA’s Security Programs. Maintain access to security systems to safeguard classified information and support security programs. Serve as an office custodian for security databases and networks, including data entry for operations. Update and maintain records such as accreditation packages, approvals, agreements, collateral files, and inspection records. Manage data entries in community databases like IC SCIF and NGA’s PeopleSoft. Ensure records are complete, current, and compliant with policies and laws. Interpret security policies related to classified materials. Assist in drafting policy documents, SOPs, and training materials. Provide recommendations to reduce security risks and facilitate mission success. Prepare documentation for SCIF accreditation and conduct site security surveys. Provide security guidance for new and renovated facilities. Oversee management of government and industry SCIFs and collateral areas. Manage the lifecycle of SCIF and collateral areas from planning to decommissioning. Coordinate with DoD, IC, and other officials to stay current on security issues. Apply expertise to address physical security challenges, balancing cost, performance, and risk. Oversee testing and maintenance of security systems. Generate reports on inspections, recommendations, and follow-ups. Support foreign partnerships and security agreements. Guide NGA and partners on safeguarding classified information. Visit sites worldwide to validate security requirements and prepare reports. Required Skills: High school diploma and 3+ years of related experience. Active Top-Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain SCI and CI POLY clearances. Security Clearance: An active Top Secret clearance is required; the candidate must obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance before starting.
